The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home
and were giving each other the silent treatment.
Suddenly, the man realized that the next day,
he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper,
"Please wake me at 5:00 AM " He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM
and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and
see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by
the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.


WIFE VS. HUSBAND
A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.
An earlier discussion had led to an argument and
neither of them wanted to concede their position.
As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,
the husband asked sarcastically, "Relatives of yours?"
"Yep," the wife replied , "in-laws"



WOMEN'S REVENGE
"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished
to purchase..
As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television
set in her purse.
"So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked.
"No," she replied, " but my husband refused to come shopping with me,
and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.."

The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"

" The wife responded, "Allow me to explain.
God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;
God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!

WHO DOES WHAT
A man and his wife were having an argument about who
should brew the coffee each morning.
The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first,
and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
The husband said, " You are in charge of cooking around here and
you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my
coffee.."
Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible
that the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me."
So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament
and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says
........."HEBREWS"

Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan

To all umat islam, selamat menyambut Ramadhan. Semoga Ramadhan kali ini membawa seribu makna bagi kita. Selamat menjalani ibadah puasa dan semoga ibadah kita di berkati Allah sentiasa.

Just want to share this with you guys, my favorite asmaul husna. Just in case you want to hear something soothing and meaningful di bulan yang mulia ini. I am not sure why but every time me myself menghayatinya...i feel like to cry and rasa sedih and sangat bermakna. Last but not least, thank you for your wonderful and meaningful training - ESQ. You guys have done a good job!

Appendicitis

The appendix is a small, tube-like structure attached to the first part of the large intestine, also called the colon. The appendix is located in the lower right portion of the abdomen. It has no known function. Removal of the appendix appears to cause no change in digestive function.

Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix. Once it starts, there is no effective medical therapy, so appendicitis is considered a medical emergency. When treated promptly, most patients recover without difficulty. If treatment is delayed, the appendix can burst, causing infection and even death. Appendicitis is the most common acute surgical emergency of the abdomen. Anyone can get appendicitis, but it occurs most often between the ages of 10 and 30.

Causes

The cause of appendicitis relates to blockage of the inside of the appendix, known as the lumen. The blockage leads to increased pressure, impaired blood flow, and inflammation. If the blockage is not treated, gangrene and rupture (breaking or tearing) of the appendix can result.

Most commonly, feces blocks the inside of the appendix. Also, bacterial or viral infections in the digestive tract can lead to swelling of lymph nodes, which squeeze the appendix and cause obstruction. This swelling of lymph nodes is known as lymphoid hyperplasia. Traumatic injury to the abdomen may lead to appendicitis in a small number of people. Genetics may be a factor in others. For example, appendicitis that runs in families may result from a genetic variant that predisposes a person to obstruction of the appendiceal lumen.


Symptoms of appendicitis may include

* pain in the abdomen, first around the belly button, then moving to the lower right area

* loss of appetite

* nausea

* vomiting

* constipation or diarrhea

* inability to pass gas

* low fever that begins after other symptoms

* abdominal swelling

Just wanna share with you guys, i received this e-mail from my Hati Manis ( takde keje ler tu kat office ) heheheh...So husbands out there, ade wifey yg chubby-chubby tu ...peluk lah bini mu 24 jam. Kui Kui Kui....kalau tak kurus gak, tak taula. Don't blame me!

Persidangan Ketiga Perubatan Daripada Perpektif Islam anjuran Pusat
Perubatan Universiti Malaya di Hotel Sheraton Subang baru-baru ini.

Hormon endorfin adalah sejenis bahan kimia semula jadi yang bertindak
sebagai penahan sakit dan mengurangkan keresahan. Jelasnya, selain
mempunyai kesan positif dari segi saintifik dan kesihatan sentuhan, pelukan
dan gurau senda antara suami dan isteri juga merupakan sunah Rasulullah
s.a.w. Tambah beliau, ada kajian di Amerika Syarikat (AS) juga mendapati
pelukan suami dapat mengurangkan tahap kolestrol dan meningkatkan kesihatan
isteri.

"Oleh itu, suami yang inginkan isterinya menurunkan berat badan digalakkan
peluk isterinya lebih kerap," katanya disambut dengan gelak ketawa oleh
peserta persidangan itu.

Jelas beliau, hubungan seks dalam penuh rasa kasih sayang juga dapat
membantu pasangan untuk awet muda dan berterampilan menarik. "Wanita yang
mempunyai kehidupan seks yang baik dan bahagia akan lebih cenderung untuk
menghiasi diri," kata Fadzilah.
